We are a Non-Profit Public Charity 501(C) (3). The Parkinsons Association of Orange County has been working for the Parkinson’s Community for nearly 20 years. Originally, PAOC began as a local chapter of the National Parkinson Foundation. Currently, the Parkinsons Association of Orange County is an independent regional organization, serving all Orange County, California.
The mission of the PAOC is to provide support for the people of Orange County who have Parkinson’s Disease and their families. We do that by working in harmony with the many wonderful organizations that benefit the Parkinson’s community. We believe in a unified effort to raise funds for research into a cure for this disease and for helpful programs for the people who live with the effects of Parkinson’s on a daily basis. We are currently interested in identifying opportunities for joint events and cooperative sponsorship of local Parkinson’s support programs.
