PARKINSON’S ORGANIZATIONS There are many organizations focused on research, advocacy, care and support for the Parkinson’s community. These include non-profit foundations like the (PAOC), medical and research centers, government agencies, regional support groups (See under support groups) and advocacy groups. Each has its own special focus, but all share the common goals of improving the lives of those affected by Parkinson’s disease and someday finding a cure. Each Foundation/Associations Web pages have their own resource sections. I highly recommend, If you’re looking for some answers, to start there.
